I certainly will not forget this moment! While waiting in line for the bus my body began to overheat causing me to become lethargic, wobbly, excessively sweating and about to faint with some vision loss. A customer in front of me assisted me with getting on the bus when the bus finally arrived. When the tour guide Alex was informed about my situation he displayed no empathy whatsoever! He told me that I would have to get off of the bus. I just felt that I needed to sit down and cool off. I remained downstairs unable to enjoy the tour up top, my main reason for purchasing. When I felt better I asked the driver Brian for my seat upstairs but there was not one available for me. I had to do the entire tour downstairs while trying to keep my body cool in the AC. During the tour I asked both the driver and the tour guide a few questions for clarity. Little empathy was shown with both staffers but it was worst with the tour guide. At the end of the tour the tour guide expressed about leaving a tip and a five star review and proceeded to give fake names if less than a five star review would be given. Even over the intercom for everyone to hear tour guide Alex stated “I know that someone is mad with me but I am not a nurse.” My response was that I knew that he was not a nurse, that I was not mad with anyone, but I did expect to have received some empathy, to not be treated less than human. Anyone could have gotten sick. My occurrence just made me wonder if there are any safety measures in place for a just in case instances. At the end of the tour it poured rain and many folks from the top of the bus were now at the bottom of the bus. To my surprise, there was a seat still left for me on the bottom. I also observed another incident where the tour guide displayed no empathy. Another customer stated that she had to call a ride and wait with it pouring rain with no shelter for cover up. She asked the tour guide where, what she could do. He quickly told her to get off of the bus too with no concern for her well-being either.
