We bought tickets the morning of our tour and we were at the bus stop 20 minutes before the first bus of the day. Unfortunately, the app did not really show where the busses were, nor did it display expected arrival time — just scheduled arrival time was displayed, and that had no value. When the bus finally arrived, they told us it was full and the next would arrive in maybe 20-30 minutes. We didn’t wait to get rejected again and instead went about our day. In the afternoon, we gave the bus another try. We boarded and took the last available seats, which were downstairs. The view was abysmal and the audio tour was terrible. There was no live guide. Just before we were going to give up and get off, people from the 2nd level seats got off, and we relocated to the open top level. The audio tour never got good, but the view was finally pleasant. Until a few stops later… the driver cut the engine and said he would be stopping for 30 minutes because the busses were so far behind that they were just waiting for their next scheduled departure. He encouraged everyone to get off, but that would mean losing the top level seats. We decided to get off anyway and walked away from the tour and our $160. What a joke. It’s not a hop on / hop off if the schedule and frequency are so uncertain, and it’s not a tour if the view and audio are bad. We would have been better off on city busses. Don’t buy these tickets unless you read the cancellation policy first… it essentially says they never give back money ever, even if they do everything wrong. What a waste of time and money!
