We took our friend, who'd never been to DC, on the Big Bus tour. It takes about 2 hours to do the entire loop, seeing the most prominent attractions along the way. I do miss the live tour guides of the past. Sadly, it's prerecorded and earphones now. All and all, a good day meandering through our nationa capitol.

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience with Big Bus. We got to the city and ready to board at 9:00am. Only to find out the bus’s wouldn’t start running until 1:00. This information was not relayed to us via email, online or on the app. We then waited at a stop until well after 2:00 and no bus. We walked to multiple monuments before were were finally able to get on a bus that had no air conditioning. At this point we would just like to request or money back. We will not be using nor recommending Big Bus to anyone.

Disappointed that the bus tour had several cancellations and delays. It didn't get started until 1 PM and we lost more than half our day traveling in Washington DC. When we did finally get on, it was disappointing that we were unable to go to Arlington. Hoping day two is better. Would be nice if we got an additional day added onto this stay for the inconveniences. The staff however, was awesome. Gave us free ponchos.
