Our guide and driver Dexter was very knowledgeable of local flora, fauna and Hawaiian history. The tour covered all the major sights on the Hilo side of the big island including Rainbow Falls, Akaka Falls with the main event being the volcanos national park. The bus has a capacity of 16 people so is smaller which makes the whole experience feel more intimate. The day started at 7.30am and finished around 5pm. We were lucky enough to see Kileuea erupting when we visited!

Highly recommend this trip with the optional Helicopter tour. Volcano National Park was such an amazing place. Would recommend this tour and to at least give yourself two full days on this island to really enjoy all there is to see. We had a wonderful experience!!!

The tour was supposed to be for 10 hours but we came back in 6 because everything was rushed. We would have liked to spend more time on volcanos or even see multiple volcanos.
