After doing some zipline research, we chose Botanical World Adventures for two main reasons: 1) they were one of the places that allowed kids as young as four, 2) we had a pregnant woman along with us and there were things for her to do and explore while we ziplined. We were not disappointed with our choice!
We had a group of eight, ages 4 to 55 and everyone had a blast. The ziplines start off relatively short so it was really easy for our nervous 4 and 6-year olds to ease into them. Our two guides, Randy and Tommy, were excellent and made the adventure really fun by adding some flourishes throughout - at one point they jumped up into a tree to pick fresh guava that we got to taste. They also took pics of us with a cell phone throughout which were then emailed to us almost immediately afterwards. The last zipline next to a waterfall was absolutely spectacular and a great way to end.
We also took time to explore the botanical gardens which were included in the zipline package. Our kids had fun in the hedge maze (and we had the whole thing to ourselves) and the adults loved learning about the unique varieties of flora. Be sure to make a trip up to the waterfall for some great pictures!
Overall we were thrilled with our experience and we highly recommend Botanical World Adventures the next time you visit the Big Island!
