This was an amazing, informative tour of Birmingham's civil rights history - Birmingham, which was the most segregated large city in the country. Clay's presentation was a carefully constructed narrative, filled with information about the history of Birmingham's systematic and evil segregation practices. We were taken to neighborhoods we never would have known to visit, and we heard about the people and places who fought to bring change. The tour was very well designed and Clay's passion about his home town and the subject were obvious. The pace of his narrative was compelling, and his general (well beyond Birmingham) knowledge of the subject, the era, and the people involved was impressive and comprehensive. This was a great 3 hour investment!
