This was supposed to be a 2 hr guided tour for a group. Our party showed up on time but the others did not. We just floated around with our guide about 200 yards away from the launching point for 45 minutes waiting for the rest of the group to show up. Then we all paddled about 10 minutes to a beach and spent 30 minutes looking at sea shells. The only thing we saw was an iguana in a tree. We decided to cut our time short and just left after the beach. To be fair, they did still plan to spend the full 2 hours on a tour after the rest of the group showed up. However, we had lost interest at that point. Would have been way better to just do a self guided tour …. We could have seen a lot more of the area than we did in our 2hrs there.

Hey Eric, I apologize you had a poor experience. This was during Christmas break where things were extremely busy. If we would have known that waiting would have made you this upset to leave a poor review giving you extra time waiting on the other family, we would have made the larger family go on another trip or reschedule. From what we communicated it seemed like you guys were ok with going out on the water with Buzz and getting more time. The trip to the beach and shelling is not the entire experience. There were still mangrove tunnels, inlets, and Estero bay to explore. We were still committed to do the full 2 hours despite the set back. I apologize other people jeopardized your experience. We thought the extra time would be a bonus rather than a detriment and were only trying to make people happy on a holiday week.

Buzz was a great tour guide (and JJ was a plus)! The tour included a stop for shelling and mangrove paddling. We even got to see dolphins playing behind a boat! What a great experience!
