We cannot say enough good things about Travel the Trail tours! This is our second year booking with Lee and his team. We had SO MUCH fun!! We had Bob last year as our guide and Rob this year. These men know their stuff!! They both shared a great history of bourbon and were very entertaining. We were in great hands and honestly we wouldn’t do these distilleries any other way. Leave it to the experts to get us there and back safely. We had an enjoyable lunch break and great conversation on both trips. If I could give them 10 stars, I would! We will be back next year!

Guide was great and the bourbon stops were pleasantly different. Barrel tasting was fun. Loved loved loved the horse farm!

We are so glad you enjoyed the mix of different experiences on your recent tour. Visiting a world class horse farm and Bourbon distilleries does make for a great day. Your guide A.J. Holley, has been a wonderful addition to the Travel the Trail guide team, lending his many years of working knowledge in the spirits industry to our tours.

I cannot rate these guys high enough! I booked Travel the Trail for a bachelor party of 8, and we had a great time! I priced out 5 different companies, and Travel the Trail was the best value, and Lee was incredibly responsive throughout the whole process. Lunch was included, which was huge! Lee was even really accommodating when we had a guy cancel on us less than 3 days out (let him know right away if that happens!). We had Rob as our tour guide, and he was awesome! Rob did a masterful job at keeping us organized and on schedule all day which was definitely a challenge as the day went on! Rob knew a lot about Louisville, the bourbon trail and the specific distilleries we went to. We did: Heaven Hill Connoisseur tasting, a tour at Willett, and the Barrel Thieving Tour at Bardstown Bourbon Company. All of them are must-visits! Rob had some good tips for stuff to look out for at each of the places which really added to the overall experience. I'll be back on the bourbon trail, and I'll definitely book with them again!
