Really enjoyed learning about the history of the river and the bourbon industry. Everyone on our tour was friendly and they all had a good time. Our pilot was knowledgeable and entertaining.

Last year my wife brought me here for my 40th. Unfortunately it rained and we were unable to do the boat ride. However we were taken out to lunch(bourbon included), drove around the town, and when the rain stopped we walked around and learned about some local history. We ended our trip with a tour at the Buffalo Trace Distillery. We decided to come back this year for our “babymoon” and went with the history tour. Boat ride was awesome and the Captain gave us full Frankfort history lesson. Overall this is a must when you visit Kentucky.
