We toured on Monday, Apr 10, 2017 - staying in Tucson for the week during spring break. In my party was me and my 15 year old son (riding separately), and there was one other couple (who shared an ATV) on the tour as well. We chose the 8:00 AM to noon schedule. A light windbreaker and shorts was comfortable attire.
Overall, a good activity. Box Canyon area was an easy 1 hour drive from the Tucson area.
(Traffic note: as an out-of-town visitor, it would have been helpful to know that there was a mass RV exodus at the ATV meeting place in Florence from the conclusion of the annual Country Thunder festival. I would have scheduled for another day in the week had I known).
ATV equipment was good; the travel through the canyon was fun in a challenging way (it stays a bit cooler in the canyon, and there was seasonal streaming water in many areas of the canyon); and Leo our tour guide was very nice and kept things going in balance for everyone in our small group.
