Workshop Information: This unique hands-on workshop allows participants to create their own graffiti art project with the help of an authentic NYC graffiti artist. Learn the tips and techniques of aerosol art from fill-ins to masterpieces as you immerse yourself in the graffiti art culture. The workshop takes place in our beautiful Brooklyn art studio in the heart of Bushwick Brooklyn. Cultivating creative thought and a welcoming environment, this experience is designed for all ages and talent levels. Leave this workshop with a greater understanding of this still misunderstood craft and of course your newly created work.

I did the walking tour and workshop with my teen kids. It was nothing short of A-M-A-Z-I-N-G !!! The tour guide was super knowledgable and explained the different styles and techniques with tons of examples and interesting stories. She also knew a lot about the international graffiti scene with anecdotes about artists and locations from our home towns in the US and abroad. Truly professional and fun. The workshop was so cool ! We worked on a canvas but got to practice on the wall as well. The artist Envy showed us a number of techniques and gave us great tips. We can't wait to try this at home ! I truly recommend this to anyone, both tour and workshop , especially if you love art and looking for an extraordinary experience !

The graffiti lesson was the highlight of our 10-year-old great nephew's NYC visit. Lincoln was here from Sarasota, FL with a particular goal of seeking out graffitti. We did the graffiti tour first, then the lesson, which was definitely the right order of things. Ghost, who facilitated the lesson, is an impressive teacher and artist who helped turn Lincoln's vision into a piece of graffiti art. He was lively and engaging and made the experience great fun for both the participants and their accompanying adults. We FedExed Lincoln's art to FL in a tube and his parents are planning to frame it and hang it. Meanwhile, Lincoln's planning to practice what he learned on the wall in his backyard!
