This trip was more exciting and more challenging than I expected. My wife and granddaughter (17) and I had never rafted in rapids before and were thinking this would be something like a flume ride and a float. Hardly. We learned a lot about rafting techniques, safety, and thrills. Our guide was very knowledgable and expected us all to do our part. We had to unlearn a lot of kayaking habits and in turn, learned something about an exciting new world. Excellent experience. Excellent guides.

Excellent half day trip! We were in great hands with our guide, Free. He gave us a short but thorough safety briefing and ensured we had the right amount of challenge on the rapids while still feeling safe. I also appreciate that he struck the right balance between fun & lively conversation (he shared a lot about the area and pointed out different aspects of the canyon) and also finding times to enjoy the silence. We got lucky - my companion and I were the only two who signed up for the trip. At first I wondered if it would be weird but it ended up being perfect. Would highly recommend.

Best rafting company in Colorado. Experience guides that made the trip fun and worry free. We had Kelly as our guide who has 15 years experience in the Arkansas River. She also had many years of experience on other Rivers throughout the world. We certainly could tell that she knew what she was doing.
