Located just downstream of Salida is an adventure for all ages. Captain Zipline offers a really unique extreme challenge course and ziplines. I just took my 9 year old daughter and her friend on a morning of adventure. They had such a blast. There are so many obstacles and challenges that they stayed completely busy for hours. The guide was very professional and the equipment was clean and well organized. Captain Zipline is a must if you are in the Salida area.... fun for all ages.

We had a girls weekend in Salida to celebrate one of our friends 50th birthday. We were looking for something "out of the norm" to do to commemorate. We decided to Zipline. We had such a great time! The group we were booked with included us (50+) to young children. Our guides Derek and Rhea were so experienced, fun, patient, and encouraging! I cannot thank them enough! This was actually my second trip within six months. I came with my husband and teenage sons during the summer. We did the zipline one day and then the boys came back the following day and did the aerial course. The boys REALLY enjoyed the course. I just wanted to share this experience with my friends! You did not disappoint. Thank you for an awesome experience!

My family of four had an incredible experience doing the challenge course at Captain Zipline. Tucked in a stunning canyon along the Arkansas River just downstream of Salida, the challenge course has hundreds of elements, more than we could cover in a morning tour. My kids (12 & 14) loved it and our guide Derek was great with the whole group. The elements are really creative and challenging, but you can choose your level of adventure. The elements are all graded by difficulty, all the way up to the super hard, double black diamond route called "Rattlesnake". The whole operation is very professional. I have been to similar attractions all around the world and this is easily the best course of its kind I have ever seen.
