We did this zipline tour as part of a package deal through American Adventure Expeditions. When we arrived there were no employees in the office which we thought was weird. Then when employees started arriving there seemed to be some confusion on who was working what which made it seem a little unorganized. An older gentleman came in, possibly the owner, and started getting on some of the employees. In my opinion, he did not talk to them very nicely and it wasn’t very professional to handle that type of business in front of guests. Once we got on the bus, everything went fine. Our guides, Rea and Hayley were delightful. Very helpful and encouraging. The zip lines were fun. My kids really enjoyed them. The landing bases seemed a bit unstable. Some of them were old wire reels that were close to falling apart. An upgrade is needed to make these safer! There is also a bit more hiking then we were aware of. Not that we can’t handle it, but my daughter could have used here inhaler and knee brace had we of been more prepared. Otherwise, fun trip.

We usually try to respond to all the "other than 5-star" reviews Our takeaway is: Fun Trip, and everyone had a good time! It does get a little confusing when we guide a hundred or more guests daily in all sorts of situations, especially when balancing rainstorms, difficulty finding our visitor center (GPS does not work well in the mountains), altitude issues, guide schedules, etc. The discussion with the guides was about scheduling issues, which we did not think was out of the normal business routine.
Our zip line tour is not "Disney-fied" and there are some old landings, and rustic fixtures which most guests find in keeping with our location. No plastic, metal or concrete here! And, please bring all your braces, inhalers, and a light jacket. We will wait out the storms as they do not last long in our area, so come on up and have a some lifetime memories!
