Our tour guide, Ben, did a wonderful job of giving us little bits of history of the area in between stops. He took us to different spots along the route that show cased murals painted by local artists and provided a brief history of each piece. Ben gave us a brief history of each restaurant we stopped at, who started and why as well as a brief history of Carlsbad itself, it's beginnings and he pointed out specific landmarks of interest. The food itself was great, we tasted super soft (and warm) donuts at The Goods, followed by a sampler at The Village Kabob, their humus was so creamy. We sampled crepes at Frogglanders, tacos at Senor Grubby's and ended the tour with Strawberry shortcake from the Strawberry Shack and a wine flight from Witch Creek. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely try this again. P.S. I really appreciated Ben accommodating different food preferences, I'm a vegetarian and there was a pescatarian in our group and we both were able to sample food that fit our preferences.

Exclusive private walking tour of boutique foodie places in Carlsbad. The perfect amount of food with a dose of Carlsbad history and a dash of pop art murals. We opted not to have the wine flight and instead had a latte as it paired well with the strawberry shortcake at the last stop - we were not disappointed with this decision. A great tour for locals or visitors.

David, our guide, was fantastic. He knew a lot about the history of the city, which added to our experience. He took us to restaurants with delicious food. We will be back and will request to have him lead our group next time as well!
