The chief luau was nice just wasn’t worth $560 for three people. We did the “royal experience.” Which wasn’t worth it…Only difference was we sat closer to the stage and were called to eat first! The website said something about we were suppose to receive a flower lei greeting which everyone did n a Mai tai greeting. Don’t get me wrong the show was great, but it’s not worth the price. Plus, the food was nasty. When you first get there you do interactive Hawaiian activities which was nice (e.g., they cut coconuts for you to drink, they teach you how to do headband weaving) they also had tables set up with nice souvenirs and accessories that you could buy. They do provide transportation which we had a problem with. They couldn’t find our name on the list until last minute, we had to literally argue with them to let us on the bus so our trip started out kind of rocky. Again, the show was great just not at their price point. I definitely recommend finding one that is worth the price. We did video the entire experience, along with other activities ( revolving restaurant, doors off helicopter ride that flew over Jurassic park, dole pineapple plantation, Pearl Harbor and more, Polynesian magic show) we did in Honolulu while on vacation. Unfortunately, Trip advisor does not let us upload videos. With that said, if you wish to get some awesome ideas feel free to visit my Instagram @angela_ethnictraveler you can find our entire trip, including this show under my highlights titled Hawaii 1 and Hawaii 2.
