My friends and I went on this tour and I can't say enough good things about it. Alana was the perfect guide, and the food was exceptional. The tour included both historical and modern components, and did I mention the food was amazing? We met at Ferrara's for cannoli, then moved on to three more restaurants in Little Italy for prosciutto and fresh mozzarella, two kinds of cheeses and fresh olives, and then finished that portion of the tour with hot out of the oven pizza. I'm not a huge fan of Chinese food (give me an egg roll and some sweet and sour chicken I'm good to go), so while I didn't enjoy the Chinatown part of the tour as much as I did Little Italy, that's no reflection on either the tour or the restaurants we went to. Dim sum, pot stickers, and almond cookies finished off our culinary delight. We had a late dinner because we were so stuffed from the tour. It was a perfect blend of history, trivia, walking, and food, and was a great value for the money.
