My friends and I boated by Riverwalk Recreation and saw a few couples renting kayaks and paddle boards before we actually tried it for ourselves, and I am so glad that we did! It was great that all four of us could enjoy the experience of Stand Up Paddle boarding together in one tour, and learn some history along the way. Our tour guide, Kelly, was outstanding! I am a beginner for paddle boarding and was nervous about boats coming along the canal during the tour, but Kelly was confident and made me feel at ease. He was patient, enthusiastic, and knows a lot about Fort Lauderdale! It was my second time visiting Fort Lauderdale, and I was amazed at how much history and fun facts we learned in just one hour. Overall, this was an excellent workout and an exciting learning experience. My only regret is that we didn't have time to go back for a segway tour!

I took a two-hour paddle tour with Kelly and a few friends. We had a great time and, surprisingly, learned a lot about the area of Fort Lauderdale and the New River. Some of my friends had never been on a paddleboard and Kelly was very accommodating to the newbies and made them feel totally comfortable out on the water. I would definitely go back to Riverwalk Recreation. While in the store, I spotted some brightly colored electric trikes that I really want to try out next time. Two thumbs way way up!

I ventured to Riverwalk Recreation to go on a paddle board tour with some friends. It was only my second or third time paddle boarding and I was nervous about keeping up with my friends. Our tour guide Kelly was awesome! He helped me to pick out a board that was more stable for a beginner and taught me some great techniques. The tour of the canal itself was also great as I learned a lot of fun new facts about Fort Lauderdale. If I am ever back in the area I will definitely return to Riverwalk.
