Highly recommend going in warmer months and checking the lunar calendar before booking! We went beginning of Dec and on a night the moon was really bright. Both of these affected how much we were able to see and we did not see much. We didn’t get to experience the plankton glowing at all, but luckily our tour guide, Tyler, caught some comb jellyfish and we saw those glowing. Tyler was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the area we were in. We learned a lot and although we didn’t see much glowing the kayaking was incredibly peaceful in the dark with the city skyline in the distance.

We were here in November and one really has to be aware that there is absolutely nothing to see at that time of year. Of course we were not aware of this prior to this trip. It was a very expensive paddle tour in the dark with nothing to see whatsoever. We know the tour operator knows about this and books the tours anyway - it is a total rip off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello RedRockPlateau, Thank you for booking your tour with us. 😊 Of course we know exactly what we'll see, we took the time to tell you on our website. We let you know the seasons, what you'll see and when, we'll also let you know what you won't see and when. You're in Comb-jelly season, so we see bioluminescent comb Jelly fish every night, unless there's been high winds during that day. There are actually very positive reviews about this, believe it or not, below and above your review. Not everynight is the same, some nights we may not see anything, thats nature. If that were to happen we would issue you a raincheck to come back out at a later date of your choosing. Of course we can not guarantee wildlife, but we can guarantee a great time. It's unfortunate to hear that you didn't enjoy your self. We would have preferred you call the office and let us know of your concerns so we could address them and offer to bring you back out at our expense. However without name we can not even look your tour up to see what happened. Hopefully next time you will contact the office of the company you've had a problem with so they can service you better. Thank you for your review 😊

Well we got canceled on 30 minutes before we showed up tried calling several times for refund and I get nothing and it's 2 months later. Very unhappy with the customer service

Hi ShaunnaJ49, We answer every phone call and return every message/text. If we had to cancel 30mins prior to your tour, it was very possibly a vehicle failure, which as you can probably imagine, is pretty hard to predict. So if we did cancel your tour 30mins prior, that sounds about right. We do not automatically refund our guests, because most guests are highly anticipating thier experience, and will more than likely rebook. I can't even look you up as you haven't left your name on the review. If you would like to call the office, we would be more than happy to issue you a refund, if that is what you want. We are the only company that offers refunds for weather cancelations. We apologize for this difficulty you've had reaching us, we look forward to your call😊 Hope to speak w/you soon.
