I've been on other boat tours in the area and was disappointed with them, however, thought we'd try Tropics for the Dolphin Tour and are glad we did. Not only was everyone friendly, they truly made an effort to make sure everyone was having a good time. After we pulled away from the dock, they gathered all of the kids in one area and provided fun and learning about boats and sea creatures. All of the kids got a tatoo (not permanent of course) at the end. They serve free beer, wine and soft drinks as well as other choices for purchase. The boat has two levels: the bottom one is enclosed so you can head out even when the weather isn't so great, as well as the top deck which you can be out in the sun if you so desire. The dolphins were fabulous, our captain got them to ride along with us several times jumping up out of the water. It was so enjoyable and worth the money, so if you're in Clearwater make time to head out and see the dolphins!

The Boat Tour was everything and more than they advertise. The crew were so friendly,knowledgable and went out the their way to make the tour special. Great place to take the children because they special events just for them. We saw all kinds of dolphins and the intercoastal waterways as well as great views of Clearwater Beach. Thanks Christina for introducing us to your family's wonderful business Christy and John from Canada

We went to Clearwater Beach with friends for 10 days in November. Staff at Crabby Bill's recommended we do a dolphin tour with Tropics Tours and it was fabulous! Christina and Bryon are so nice and welcoming. I learned a great deal about dolphins. The boat was nice and clean and the beer was cold :) Will definitely go again next November!
