This place was great.little hard to find parking but walking the cobblestones/brick roads is a great experience as so many shops, local eats, and literal history every few feet! The museum is a great collection. A reminder of how far humans have come and treat each other. This is a history we all as humans share and it should be remembered even if it's ugly and terrifying . Not politically correct or church sanctioned/approved. This place will show you the instruments used to torture and punish those of societies around the world that didn't conform or agree with what leaders or laws were forced. Great reminder for today! As even today those who don't agree with the group are punished or persecuted and pushed aside. Just like today ,1000 years ago people were punished for not agreeing with politicians and priests.good place to visit to remind those that go along with things and follow groups/herd / trends. You aren't safe either..let this torture/ punishment deviced be a nice warning sign for those who follow everything, your not safe from persecution today and a thousand years ago. As many devices designed for torture ,the designer was sentenced to death using his own design. Reminding you...go along and you still get same treatment as the guilty uncleansed/heretic/non politically correct. It will remind you how lucky you are to get into your tesla,or luxury car. Use your iPhone or Android to look up whatever you want. Walk to your fridge and sink. Walk outside and say or yell whatever you want! It's great and perfect for families w older kids and adults! The exhibits are fun. VERY INFORMATIVE..ladies will enjoy their rights and freedom a little more after some of the exhibits. Grown men will groan at the exhibits showing devices for teen boys and men , devices used for ill say purity. It is a gut wrenching and scary yet humble and historical journey . Great little place.i think all ages could do. Parents with baby or toddler you will be fine. More comprehensive kids aged 6 and up , better to have parent to explain. But i personally think any age group would be fine. You see worse on t.v. The micro art museum is awesome as well. It is so amazing the detail and just how tiny the art is. Its a great experience too. Some of the art was soooo tiny. We couldn't see it lol. But really fun looking through microscope at the art, then looking at plate/slide ..its is so small! Its so cool to see. Spend the dough and do both! Real deal for area. All ages will learn! .small kids 5 to 8 ish , the micro art museum is very suitable and will wow them! So great! I really hope to come back!
