We offer small, private tours that focus on helping you capture better photos. Our tours take you to the most breathtaking locations across the Blue Ridge Mountains that only the locals know about. iPhone photographers are welcomed!!

We’ll work directly with you to create a custom, private tour that is perfect for you and your photography interests. Together we'll pick locations that fit your interests and your desired amount of hiking, from a couple of miles to no hiking at all. This is ideal for travelers looking to go off the beaten path. And we pick you up!

Our award-winning photographers know the Blue Ridge Mountains better than anyone else in the area! We can work to accommodate your schedule but typically this tour begins 4 hours before sunset.

Words cannot express our appreciation for WNC Photo Tours. Once we booked our trip we were soon contacted so that our tour would be customized for my husband and I. We were in close contact and upon meeting J, we felt as if we were getting picked up by a friend to explore nature. J's experience and professionalism allows you to relax and enjoy your trip. Our trip was mainly to explore the Blue Ridge Mountains and hidden waterfalls. J knew where to go and where to stop for amazing views/photos. J is truly talented, not only did he take us to some of the most amazing spots, but he truly knows photography. J can educate you on how to take better photos on your camera however not everyone has creativity like J. J captured the most amazing photos of my husband and I. We were blown away when we saw them. J genuinely has a passion for nature and photography it shines through in his work. We could not be more grateful to have made such an amazing new friend and to have such phenomenal photos we will cherish forever.

Jay was awesome as a tour guide to the Pisgah National Forest. Not only did he take me to places I did not know about but the tips he gave me to improve my photography were priceless. This is a must do for the person who enjoys taking pictures and wants to up there game with their pictures.

The views are stunning and there is no way we would have known these places to go on our own. As far as the photography, I definitely learned a lot and am thankful I decided to do this. J. is great. And if you are lucky enough that his little dog FOX can some along, that's the icing on the cake.
