Coldwater Excursions

Take in the sights as you are guided down Holmes Creek to a beautiful fresh water spring, Cypress Springs, in a canoe, kayak, or on a stand up paddle board (SUP), depending upon your preference. Your guide will be with you for the entire trip to set up and demonstrate all of the gear and to help you maximize your experience at Cypress Spring. From the time I booked until it was over it was awesome! They called me a couple days before and got our sandwich orders and whether we were kayaking or paddle boarding. We arrived at the pick up spot and they were waiting and ready to go. The ride over was long but everyone in the van was talking and getting excited. We got to the launching spot and got going, not time wasted, the water was murky and creepy at first but then like a dream the water turned blue and beautiful. The guide quickly jumped out of his canoe and set up our lawn chairs, towels, and coolers. I didnt even know they supplied towels so that was really cool. He gave us our snorkel gear and told us to go Wild. We had go pros and these little yellow propellers that would take us under water and take videos. This place was like a dream. We had so much fun! The water was FREEZING but once you got past that it was perfect. They sent us our pictures and videos in like 2 days which was awesome.

We had a group of 9 and everyone had an amazing time. The spring is beautiful (and cold). We love the options of canoeing, kayaking or paddle board. My son especially liked the water scooter. Oh, did I say the spring is BEAUTIFUL. The trip was very organized and the staff were excellent. Money well spent.

I took a chance and booked this excursion on line, not sure what to expect. I checked the reviews and chatted with the booking agent enough to have confidence it would be good. I was SO wrong! This excursion was GREAT! We had a great guide (Andrew) who took care to teach us about the area, the fun things to do and he took great photos while we spent time enjoying the refreshing spring and afternoon. Everything is taken care of, just bring yourself and your willingness to enjoy something different and beautiful. Lunch and drinks were provided as well as chairs and fluffy clean towels. What a lovely escape from the beach. Highly recommend this tour!!
