My girls and I are very experienced kayakers but my mother -in-law does not swim. She was scared to death to get in the water on a kayak. She was speechless I had booked her a seat in this adventure. But these folks made her extremely comfortable during our experience and she felt safe enough to relax and had the time of her life that day. We were all so impressed with the professionalism used by the staff and how individualized we were handled. From boarding us on our boats to helping each of us gain a high quality experience, I'm so glad we chose to participate in this adventure. My children were not disabled from acting like children and the staff obliged my girls each and every time they wanted to climb the ladder to swing off the rape. (which was many). I never said the word "cold" and still got hosed from the Icey cooler with the squirt gun but at least it was by the hands of my daughter instead of Nick(our guide-haha). They supplied each of us our own snorkel gear and we shared an underwater motorized hand propeller that the girls could use freely with no limitation. We literally had no need that was unmet this day with this company. We did not use their sunscreen but we did thank them for the dry, clean towels they provided. Lunch was simple deli sandwiches, but there was such a special notation to seeing my name on my lunch in their cooler. My girls went to the drink cooler numerous times throughout the day like it was our own. Their was no limitation to their access. We had the freedom to float, paddle, dive, jump, swim, walk, sit where ever, when ever we desired that day with no restrictions. I 'll never forget this experience and neither will my children. My mother-in-law acclimated to water and later braved the ocean. She did not take interest in learning to swim, but she did gain some confidence that water play adds an enriching element to life. Hands down, would not hesitate recommending anyone to join this adventure.
Our guide (Nick) informed us the crystal clear, spring water was a cool 71* that day. It was exhilarating to submerge into, not really unlike water where we are from, but was much colder than the ocean. The 90* sun dense air compensated well for our cool skin from the water.
Once it was all said and done, at the end, the staff guided us back to their starting point for us to wait while they made each individual family our own thumb drive of pictures from our day's adventure to take with us.
