This is my second whale watching trip with Capt. Dave’s. My first time, I saw so many dolphins, which was so fun and exciting to see! I was able even able to view them from the underwater viewing pod. My second time out in May of 2024, I will never forget! We saw two blue whales and stuck with them for some time; so amazing and beautiful to see these amazing mammals. This experience will stay with me, my daughter, and 4 year old granddaughter forever. I am looking forward to my third safari with Capt. Dave’s. The crew was so knowledgeable and were as excited as we all were to see these beautiful creatures!

Captain Chuck, Hannah & Molly were an amazing crew. Not only were they informative and interactive, they were also fun! We saw wildlife about 5 minutes into the safari until we docked back into Dana Point. Dolphins, Sea Lions & pelicans were just the beginning. We followed two fin whales and a blue whale, and we were lucky enough to get amazing views of each, multiple times. The catamaran was the perfect way to see everything. We could stand at the front or rear of the boat with wonderful views and it never felt crowded. Thank you for an awesome experience.
