Besides the humter tour, the city tour by carriage was educational. The tour guide was funny and the nice weather made the tour enjoyable.

We had a wonderful time! We got picked up right in front of our hotel and dropped back off right there at the end of the tour. The bus was very comfortable. Wendy the bus driver was fantastic! Not only did she handle the bus in an expert fashion, she also did a great job of shepherding us to the events, but also keeping us informed of the time schedules, where to meet the bus, and making sure we got on the carriages and the ferry boat over to Fort Sumter. All the events were great! We enjoyed each one very much. The only draw back is how much time we had at each event but that's to be expected given that it's a tour with a schedule to keep. I also wasn't aware I had a choice between seeing the U.S.S Yorktown or going to Boon Plantation. I thought Boon Plantation was the only option until the bus ride. I might have gone with the Yorktown with more time to decide. Nevertheless, it was a great trip and I didn't have to do the driving.

We were able to see so much more than if we drove ourselves. It is pretty fast paced, but suitable for most ages or abilities.
