It was a nice day trip. We enjoyed the carriage ride through the old parts of Charleston and the shopping at the City Market was interesting, lots of vendors some were the same old same old t-shirts and the like but there were also some very unique vendors with out of the ordinary items. Fort Sumter was an interesting bit of history. We also learned a lot about Plantation Life at the Boone Hall Plantation. The one negative was the bus ride, their regular bus was out of service so we had a replacement that was obviously a little older but very serviceable. We met some other fun folks from around the states and Canada, except the two women who sat behind us that argued most of the trip, but even that got entertaining sometimes! lol

On 2/14/23 we did tour #7. We were picked up at 6:45 In Broadway at the Beach. Along the way we made a few stops to pick up more guests. Wendy our driver was excellent. The ride was smooth and relaxing. Upon arriving in Charleston we went on another bus that we take is on a tour around Charleston. Richard our tour guide was very informative. We were then dropped off in the marketplace to shop or do whatever you wanted. At 1230 we met up with Wendy and we’re given a boxed lunch which I might say was delicious and plentiful. On to fort sumpter were we took a boat ride to the fort and we’re net with tour guide to explain the history of the fort. Then back to land were we boarded our bus to Boone plantation. We took a tour of the house and the grounds. Back on the bus with Wendy to bring us home. The whole trip was wonderful and would give it 5 *****

We just completed our Day Trip from Myrtle Beach to Charleston with a group of four. We treated some out of town guests. This trip worked like clock work. I've been to Charleston before and know what a challenge it is to get so many things in for a day. This trip made it very easy and I got to nap on the bus to and from Charleston. Can't beat that. Thanks!
