My fiance and I had a wonderful time on the Deep Ellum tour. Our guide Miles was excellent, and felt like an instant friend. He was so knowledgeable about the history of the Deep Ellum neighborhood- particularly the street art! He gave us the history of some of the art and artists, and explained several of the murals to us. He also made sure we had a good view of the Dallas skyline at one of the restaurants and pointed out the historical Deep Ellum buildings and told us all about them. We had such a great time visiting all of the restaurants on the tour, and left absolutely stuffed! We would love to do another food tour with Miles again! It would be great if Food Tours Across America offered a Bishops Arts tour!

My sister and I scheduled this tour during our girls trip to Dallas. We have both spent time in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area in the past so we wanted to experience a new area. Emily was our guide and she was awesome and provided great information about the area and it’s history. The food was fabulous and plentiful. We purchased the option of two drinks with our tour. There were two choices at each restaurant and the ones we chose were delicious. I highly recommend this tour.

I specifically chose this tour because I wanted to learn more about Deep Ellum and its historically black roots. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgable. We got behind schedule at our first stop, which I wouldn't have even known...but our guide was super honest and we got a free drink on her at our next place. Nothing ever felt behind schedule and all the restaurants were amazing. It was extremely hot out but we weren't outside too much. There was absolutely no wait at any single restaurant even on a Saturday in July. I chose this excursion for myself and my date and it was the highlight of our trip!
