Denali Experience Flightseeing Tour from Talkeetna

This tour takes you within 6 miles of Denali's north summit (19,470 ft.) and south summit (20,320 ft.). You will enter an ancient world of rugged high mountain peaks, towering snow-capped mountains and glacier-filled valleys and explore the south and east faces of Denali. The regular flightseeing tour is 1 hour, or choose the glacier landing option for a 1.5 hour tour including a landing atop a glacier. This is truly a once in a lifetime experience you will not forget.

We had a terrific ride with David and he took us to places that were amazing and beautiful, giving us opportunities to take nice photos and explanations of what we were seeing alongside with historical perspectives. Even though we were flying in the winter, there were accommodations to try to make it as warm as possible in the plane. It was a nice long sightseeing adventure that didn't feel rushed.

My son is stationed at JBER and I came to visit for Christmas. He surprised me with this flight tour and I was absolutely amazed at the experience. From the moment we arrived and chatted with Suzanne about what to expect to the actual flight with Dallas as our flight guide, the experience is out of this world spectacular. I cannot say enough positive things about K2 Aviation. If you're looking to take a tour by plane this is the place to do it, a must do!!!!

We stopped here on our way from Anchorage to Denali...You have to go a bit out of your way to get to Talkeetna, but if you wish to do a flightseeing tour of the Mountain, this is the place K2 Aviation is the way to go...We had pre-booked (a must) the Summit Tour with a glacier landing, but due to weather conditions were not able to fly to the top of the summit But, the alternative was amazing...The flight from Talkeetna to the glacier was perfect...Our very knowledgeable pilot provided great information during his commentary...Photo opportunities abounded The glacier landing is a must add-on (don't worry about the price...this is a once in a lifetime trip)...the scenery is unreal and words won't do it justice...Heck, the photos hardly capture the moment and feeling of wonder Must do! Must do! Must do!
