Early morning pick up and ride out to the jeeps took a while. Colorful jeeps lined up waiting along with the two "guides"; one leads and one follows to keep all in tow. The jeeps are driven on a gravel road, not "into the wilds", once off the main road, and never go very fast making it a rather calm and collected ride. The only wildlife we saw were a couple ducks, but did get a peak at the tip of Denali in the far distance and other mountain range as the clouds were fewer. A few stops to take photos and have a snack provided such as goldfish and chips in small bags, and water. Love how Alaskans keep litter where it belongs! During the ride guides talk to jeeps via CB sharing information and stories, and jeeps can ask questions via their CBs. FYI, the road may be 135 miles long, the jeep excursion does not go that far.
