Wow! My family had a wonderful day rafting the Deschutes River with our guide Shion who rocked! It was our first time rafting and Shion made sure that he took care of all our needs and concerns. The Deschutes River Rafting company is extremely organized and well run. Everything from check-in, driving to the river, rafting, lunch and send off was a excellent. This was our first time rafting. The company as a whole is great, professional, thorough and fun. Shion was our guide and I’m so glad we got him! Some of us were uncertain about rafting and his energy and skill drew us all in and we found ourselves jumping off rocks at the stops, sliding down natural water slides and generally braving up more than we ever expected! He was full of fun facts and tricks and absolutely made the most of the rapids. We will definitely use River Drifters again and the kids are already talking about making it a 4th of July weekend tradition

A little trivia about River Drifters. River Drifters started in 1976. The outfitter was Brick Poe. Was the first outfitter authorized to run trips on the Clackamas river upper and lower. Showed trips on the big screen in the high rocks pub in Gladstone. Lots of good memories. I now live in Philippines
