We had a great time! We had clear weather and saw Denali lit up like a beacon during our drive to Willow and our morning sled ride. The dogs were champions and Liz and Kaci were very friendly and we appreciated their all the stories and information and answers to all our questions. Much more affordable than other sled dog rides within shot of Anchorage, and we can’t wait to visit during puppy season and bring visitors out in the future

Alaskan Husky Adventures ran by Matthew & Liz Failor offer AMAZING summer cart and winter sled tours. Research Matthew’s name & you will find nothing but positive stories reflecting this man’s love & connection with his dogs aka best friends & mushing. Not to mention how much he adores sharing his wealth of knowledge regarding the mushing world with others of all ages. It is a MUST do for anyone of any age!! Matthew has been guiding tours for over 15 years & now doing so under their own business name. We have been sponsoring dogs at his kennel since 2014 & they always make us feel like part of their team & family. Go 17th-Dog - mush, mush!! When you visit, give Black Sabbath belly rubs & Boogieman a high five from the Sopkin’s.

I've visited 17th-Dog with my family multiple times, and also went for a work event. All experiences have been excellent. 17th-Dog is a phenomenal experience run by amazing, knowledgeable and fun people. It's very educational, you'll learn everything from sled dog care to the sport of mushing to each dog's individual personality. The dogs are very social and lovable, and literally greet you with hugs. Then, when you see them transition into race-mode, you'll be amazed at their desire to run and how smart these athletes are. It's a great experience for all ages and activity levels (activity level is what you make it). 17th-Dog is safe, clean and you and your kids will love it! I'd give it more stars if I could!
