My husband and I went on this tour yesterday, along with our daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren, age 8 and 10. We all loved it but especially the kids and it’s not always that easy to get the kids as excited and engaged as they were. As soon as we started out our tour guide Kent made them scientists for the day. He gave the kids clipboards with charts they had to mark with the different sightings they would see during the trip. By the end of the tour they had completely filled out their board. We had multiple sightings of dolphins swimming right by our boat in pods, playing and jumping out of the water. We were also lucky enough to have two Manatees bobbing up and down right along side our boat, a real thrill. And our grandchildren spotted many different species of birds, all identified for them by Kent. Kent is so knowledgeable about the Dolphin world that he can identify them by name by their dorsal fins! He gave our kids a big notebook of pictures of different dolphins in the area with their names along with pictures of their fins. He could actually call out their names when we spotted different dolphins jumping out of the water. Besides the nature watching it was just a beautiful, clear day out on the water on an extremely comfortable, new boat expertly piloted by Robin. We made a great stop at a lovely beach where we all cooled off by jumping in the water, then collected shells to bring home. It was an absolutely perfect day and our whole family could not recommend it more!
