This is the second helicopter tour I have done on the Big Island, so I am comparing this experience to my first one. I felt like this tour was rushed. When we got to the active part of the volcano, it started to rain so we had to turn around. And, while disappointing, I understand that you can't control the weather and safety comes first. When we went to fly over several waterfalls, our pilot just flew past them. We didn't even have time to take photos. In my previous experience, the pilot took more time so that all passengers on both sides had time to take photos and get a good view of them. So, overall, it seemed like it was more important to stick to a tight schedule, then give the passengers a good experience. We definitely had fun, but I had a much better experience on Blue Hawaiian.
