I'm a big fan of walking tours - done several in NYC, New Orleans, San Fran., etc. Wasn't sure what to expect about the Las Vegas one. Really enjoyed this one, and I'm a Las Vegas "local" (only lived here 3 years).
What I liked: 1. Lots of history of Las Vegas that I never knew. I got a great feel of what Las Vegas was like before the Strip. 2. Came away with lots of ideas of where to come back to - for date nite, with out of town visitors, etc. 3. Learned lots about what Zappos founder is doing in downtown Las Vegas 4. Tour was very easy to hear 5. Combined with visit to the Mob museum same day - very educational day.
What I wish I knew in advance: If it is in the winter time, dress warmly. Wish I had worn wool and gloves - never thought I would say that about something in Las Vegas. You don't walk far or at a fast clip, so don't expect to get warm from the physical exercise.
