"Drink sir, is a great provoker..."

The stage is set in a hidden venue. Five professional actors meet as members of The Drunk Shakespeare Society. One of them has 5 shots of whiskey and then attempts to perform a major role in a Shakespearean play. Hilarity and mayhem ensue while the four sober actors try and keep the script on track. Every show is different depending on who is drinking... and what they're drinking!

Craft cocktails and food are served throughout the show. Running time is 90 minutes with no intermission. Drunk Shakespeare is on a limited run so get your tickets today! Entry is strictly 21+

This was one of the best shows I've ever seen in NYC. We chose this over doing a stand up comedy show and are so glad we did. The troupe was doing Macbeth, and it's so impressive how they can improvise on the fly to work around the cast member getting more and more inebriated as the show goes on. It's overall a great experience, they make a party atmosphere. This is also definitely a 21+ type of event.

I went twice in December, once with friends, the second one with more friends and my husband. I think it is one of the best plays in NY right now! If you want music, it has some; burlesque as well; serious Shakespeare, won't be dissapointed; laughs, for 80 minutes straight! The actors are unbelievable, they can do everything and they do it all well! Will be coming back and bringing even more friends over!

Would always recommend to anyone. The cast is great, it's a fun show, and one of the better values you can get on a show in NYC
