of course being with my best friends and enjoying the gorgeous weather! We made reservations for 3 e-bikes. We showed up on time and were promptly fitted for helmets. She showed us a few things about the bike and said ALWAYS pull both brake handles at the same time. She suggested locks but they were 10 extra. A gentlemen suggested a path for us and we took it. We basically went down Church street, stopped at the Bishop's palace, hit the seawall and then peddled to East Beach for a dip. A kick stand fell off en route on one bike but we later found it. One bike wasn't charged all the way but it turned out fine. On the return, the same young man was very pleasant and was glad we enjoyed our time. Good value, reasonable and good fun. Listen to the directions and don't get crazy. I learned the hard way not to hike my leg over the seat to get off...bad bruise on my lower leg. It was just habit to get off a bike this way but you STEP through on these e-bikes.

I signed up and paid for the Adventure Tour online. When my daughter and I arrived the morning of the tour the tour guide was a no show. The person at the shop gave us a refund for the difference of the Tour versus rental. Gave me a map of different places to look at and sent us on our way. Not being from Galveston I had no idea of the history of what I was looking at. On the other hand, the bikes were fun to ride. Not having to pedal is a good thing (having had three knee surgeries). My daughter and I rode for two hours. Note to self... call to make sure we have a tour guide.

While visiting Galveston we rented 5 electric bikes. My wife, Daughter and I are avid cyclist and had never used an E-Bike.... we may never want to ride again without one!! Seriously we had a great time and Seth and the crew we Awesome! If you want a good way around the island and great service don't miss the team!
