If you are into any New York rock or punk scene from the 70s 80s e.g. The Ramones, The New York Dolls, Blondie, The Dictators etc you must do this tour. It was one of the best things we did on our New York trip. Bobby who runs the tours is not only very informative about the music but all about the architecture of New York and the whole area. We will definatley be doing more of his tours the next time we are in New York. We booked the tour at [email protected] and we did the East Village Rock walk.

Music and rock n roll specifically has been a passion for me since high school. Since I have seriously listened to music and read books about music history for over 30 years, I was a little skeptical about this tour. I thought I knew enough for this tour to be a bore. I was wrong. Bobby has done an amazing amount of research and shared great stories about the landmarks he showed us. He is a very personable tour guide that knows his subject well and conveys an enduring passion for music. This tour was a highlight of our recent visit to Manhattan, and I recommend this tour to anyone who has an interest in rock n roll music.

Really enjoyed this tour, Ron our guide was great, full of rock n roll knowledge, great way of seeing parts of Manhatten that we probably wouldn't have seen if we hadn't done this tour, would highly recommend it.
