Our favorite tour to recommend with the most bang for your buck! See two iconic Zion landmarks in a 1 hr rugged Jeep tour. First we wind through the pine forest reaching a stunning view of Checkerboard Mesa. Next onto a rugged descent of several hundred feet into Jolley Gulch where we make our second stop. Here you can take an optional two minute unguided hike to see a top down view of the Jolley Gulch slot canyon that reaches 200 feet down into its narrow canyon walls. We then climb our way out, crossing the the river bed several times as we work our way back on top of the Ponderosa plateau and back home.

We will travel in a loop to Checkerboard Overlook and then down to Jolley Gulch and then back to our starting point. All within a one hour tour of close proximity. In fall and winter months, be prepared for cold weather! Make sure you bring hats, gloves, coats, etc. to keep you warm while you enjoy the tour.

The views were amazing! We took so many photos! The kids loved the bumpy jeep ride through the trail. Great info provided by our tour guide.

Fun short little ride. They take you right up to the edge of the park where you can look down on checker board masa and the East rim hiking trail. The tour guide, Mark, was friendly and knowledgeable!

The guide Mark has some great information to tell about. He knows a lot about the trees and animals, and also the cultural stuff like how the native Americans utilized these resources.very cool and fun experience
