East Zion adventures came through amazingly for us! We decided to fit in a canyoneering experience last minute, and Lila at the office was super helpful and patient as we figured out our schedule and which experience would make the most sense for us. We were a little back and forth until we figured out what we wanted to do, and she was super flexible and gracious with her time until we finally booked! Great service for a last minute reservation! We ended up choosing the Coral Sands half-day, in part because we'd rather hike than be in a UTV. The hike didn't disappoint-- the scenery and hike were beautiful and fun. Macy was the perfect guide - she was competent, patient, informative and fun (with a great sense of humor!). She was able to coach myself and my friend through a few climbing techniques and the actual rappels-- she was great at coaching us down the canyon. She was calm and helped me through some panic- her calm, confident demeanor is the perfect anchor when going backwards down a wall! I felt safe and felt that I learned some new techniques and really enjoyed the rappelling. I definitely want to do this again! The slot canyons and views were stunning, and Macy was very knowledgeable about the canyons and sandstone besides the rappelling itself. It was cold (mid November), and there was snow in some places. We only did 3 repels, because there was knee-deep water if we had continued to do all 5, and we didn't have the gear necessary. *** I would recommend asking about water in the canyon and how that will effect your experience, and if you should bring any specific gear.

We had the best time with our guides Micah and Aaron. They were knowledgeable about the area and our activity, and super fun to hang out with. Highly recommended.

Micah was an amazing guide. We ended up being the only people and the tour for the day and that made it even better. We got to go at our own pace. My husband has experience and I do not and Micah was very patient and helpful, it made me feel super comfortable and able to have fun! We made it through the whole canyon
