Load into our Can-Am UTV's and let our guides drive you to the base of a little known slot canyon called Coal Hollow Slot Canyon. After a short 1/2 mile but steep hike we will arrive at the first of 6 to 7 rappels. We provide all the equipment we will need for this amazing opportunity to rappel into a slot canyon. Getting to see a slot from the start of the canyon to the end is unforgettable. This will be the high-light of your vacation!

Due to the fact that we have multiple tours per day being on time is very important. If you are more than 15 minutes late we will have to leave without you. We are on Mountain Time and an hour different than Las Vegas and Arizona.

Our vacation has just begun, and I truly think this will have been the highlight. I went with my 3 boys, aged 15, 13 and 10. All three had trepidations, but our guide, Rob, was so good with them and we not only quickly conquered fears, but I’m sure the kids would go again tomorrow if the could. The scenery of the canyon was stunning, and it was clear Rob had respect for his surroundings and for the “leave no trace” rule of being out in nature. He told us stories along the way and pointed out mountain lion tracks and other points of interest. I can’t recommend this tour enough, and if you’re hungry when you’re done playing in the canyon, Archie’s Food Truck is right there to provide an awesome lunch. Do your family a favor and book this tour!

Had a great time rappelling in The Huntress slot canyon with Koleman. We’d only rappelled once before (more than 10 years ago), but Koleman was able to get us trained and comfortable rappelling very quickly. The canyon was beautiful, with lots of great photo opportunities. Be aware that participants should be physically able to climb down a few ~5-6 foot cliffs in the canyon that don’t need rappels and also be able to hike up a large sandy hill at the end of the adventure to get back to your vehicle (as flatlanders we needed to catch our breath a few times on the trip back up). You should also wear clothes that are pretty durable since you’ll be rubbing up against canyon walls/floors throughout the tour since it’s a narrow canyon. My leggings and jacket are a little worn after the adventure.
