Нелсон Гхост Товн

Nelson Ghost Town

Nelson, back in 1775, wasn't Nelson but was called Eldorado by the Spaniards who made the original discoveries of gold in this area that is now Eldorado Canyon. A hundred years later the prospectors and miners of the day took over and established the notorious Techatticup Mine. Disagreements over ownership, management, and labor disputes resulted in wanton killings so frequent as to be routine and ordinary. Despite the sinister reputation of the mine, it along with others in the town produced several million dollars in gold, silver, copper, and lead. But because of its location in the El Dorado Canyon, it was susceptible to flash flooding making it uninhabitable. The remaining weathered buildings, machinery, and Texaco station are what’s left of the boomtown.

Great day out, our tour guide Viktor very informative at all locations and also gave a good commentary to all the sites,for me and my partner money well spent and would highly recommend this tour

We booked this before we came away not knowing really what to expect but we were literally blown away! The stops at Boulder City and the Ghost town were like going back in time and just astounded us. The Hoover Dam is awe inspiring and the views are just phenomenal. The scenery as travelling through is just incredible, for those who know, it’s like you are immersed in the game Red Dead Redemption and you feel you are in the Wild West! Our tour guide, Viktor, was also amazing! He was very knowledgeable and did not rush us through anything and gave us so much information on what was around us not just the stops we were making, he is lovely 😊 thanks for an amazing day!!!!!

This was an amazing trip and surpassed expectations. Victor was an amazing guide. He gave us plenty of time at every destination and we never felt rushed. Thanks Victor for an amazing experience. Definitely one of the highlights of my Las Vegas trip
