We consider ourselves frugal. The VIP tour was worth the cost. At the Graceland Center we met our guide John. We were given headphones that were connected to his microphone so we hear every word of the tour. A bus took us to the mansion. John took us through each room and building painting a picture of what daily life was like for Elvis and his family. He shared many stories with great detail. Not just a story teller though, as many questions were easily answered. He then took us to the archive building where we could look at some of Elvis’s personal items. The bus returned us to the Center where John took us through the museum’s displays of autos records, awards and costumes. At the end of the tour we headed to Vernon’s for lunch which was included with our tour. After lunch we toured Elvis’s planes. The pass was good all day so we could go back to revisit any part of the museum or estate. Shout out to John for a great tour. He really did TCB!
