Looking for some whitewater while avoiding white-knuckle rapids? The 3 hour Upper Half Day trip is perfect for families, first-timers who are timid, or for those who aren’t strong swimmers – especially in June when we have high water. Enjoy fun rapids such as Hilarity Hole, Screaming Left, and Killer Fang. These rapids offer plenty of splashes and relatively easy navigation without the challenge of long rapids like the Mad Mile. This trip is packed with splashes and smiles!

Terrific trip on the Gallatin River. A very well run operation. Everything from booking the trip to arrival, picking up equipment, to the trip itself went very smoothly. Our guide, Charlie, was excellent. Overall, a memorable and highly recommended adventure.

We had a great time on the river, and the views were amazing. I actually enjoyed the truckers honking at us as we were floating by. Our guide, Juliet, was great. She was very informative and kept us on track. We love doing a paddle high five after we got through some of the rapids. Just a great day all the way around.

Great fun down the Gallatin River! We opted for the more challenging half day rafting trip (class 3 & 4 rapids), which was perfect for our family (note: we have been rafting previously). Henry was an excellent guide—personable and knowledgeable—and kept everyone in the raft for the whole trip.
