Enjoyed the day. Airboat ride was fun. Staff doing the talks throughout the day were knowlegable and good at presenting.
The food at the resturant was really reasonably priced. It is refreshing to see a company not over pricing food on site.
It was also nice to see lots of other animals as well as the Gators.
The reason I took a star off was for 3 reasons. Some of the living areas for some animals were far too small. I did see one sign stating it had been approved, however, it was upsetting to see some animals cramped in tiny cells e.g. foxes.
Some animals, which I believe live in groups, were alone which is not nice to see.
Also, we found the gift shop disturbing. Hearing talks about Gator care, how to respect them in the wild, preservation etc. Then you walk into the shop and are faced with decapitated Gator heads and feet.
We both found this odd and disrespectful to the Wonderful Gators, it was also in bad taste. Did not understand the need for this.
Overall though, we did enjoy tbe day and are glad we came.
