So we got real lucky and without knowing it got Ted on our first of 7 days in Boston for a small group walking tour of the Freedom trail. But it was so much more. He took my wife myself and 14 year old son around the city and not only showed us the sights but made us feel like we were there when it happened. Within 10 minutes of him talking and showing us pictures of the history of the revolution and the times surrounding it, he had me hooked. The amount of information this man has- unreal. And what’s even more impressive is his ability to entertain you while giving you this information- which is A LOT! But he doesn’t overwhelm you, he paints a picture. If you like history you’ll LOVE his tour and if you don’t like history, I’m telling you, you will still enjoy the 2ish hour event. I say we got lucky because the quality of the tour depends so much on the person giving it to you, and he was simply outstanding. My 14 year son (high school) was enamored by his stories (he said it was the best tour he’d ever been on) and we literally said- we wish we could kidnap him for a day and just “hang” around town and have him tell/show us things.
As far as WHAT we actually saw, it’d be silly to list everything. I can say undoubtedly he showed us everything that we wanted to and more. All the important buildings, grave sites, monuments etc.
I probably shouldn’t say this but, we would’ve gladly paid twice what we were charged, so it’s certainly a big bang for the buck.
We will definitely be going back to Boston- 7 days there is simply not near enough. We will for certain be trying to get Ted to give us another tour- I’d actually do this same one over again! We were there during Covid-19 and it did have some impact as far as a few things being closed- but on the upside nothing was crowded. Ted also did a great job requesting face masks and keeping us from being on top of each other.
Thanks again Ted,
Chad Stacey and Jensen- from Jupiter Fl

I'm not sure where to begin—thank you, truly, for sharing this incredible review! Pardon my obvious tour guide bias, but I definitely believe the best way to explore a new city is with a local guide. It was perfect that we met up on Day 1 of your Boston visit, too, and it was great running into you again during the week. Just a perfect example of what a small town Boston actually is.
I don't want to take all the credit, though—Boston played such a unique and fascinating role in the founding of our nation. Loyalist or Son of Liberty, it's deeply gratifying to know you felt my Freedom Trail presentation lived up to this town's revolutionary stories. Please reach out the next time you're in Boston... the 2-hour stroll only scratches the surface of all the amazing history this special town holds!
