Enjoy this 2-hour guided adventure on a double-deck power catamaran to watch the whales in their natural habitat. Depending on the whales’ behavior during your whale watching trip, you may see the whales slapping the surface with pectoral fins (their very long side fins), flukes (the tail), the peduncle (the strong muscles attaching the tail to the rest of the body) and the breach, this is when the whale rises completely out of the water and crashes down again.

Nice experience. The Captain was funny and was very informative. The crew was attentive and made sure we stayed hydrated. Totally beyond their control but had to give 4 stars because we didn't get close to any whales. We did get to hear them when they dropped the hydrophone and we saw them from a distance. A little disappointed about that. But again, to be fair, they cannot control what the whales do.

Parking can be difficult, give yourself plenty of time to find a spot, you do have to pay. It is cheap though. Great experience, great crew

My husband and I went on our honeymoon and it was our first time seeing whales in the wild!!! Such an amazing experience! Highly recommend! :) our captain was captain kiwi and he was amazing! Great entertainment and drinks!!
