Rented two bikes for a full day. Traveled from their place to downtown St. Pete. We had a problem with the bike size for my small wife. Even after we lowered the seat to the lowest possible place, it was still somewhat too high. Not having ridden a bike in 25 years, she had difficulty stopping and reaching the ground with her feet without the bike tipping to the side.
We hope they invest in a smaller bike for future rentals.
Bikes work fine with plenty of power. The trip goes over water, over major roads using special overpasses, and where the streets had to be crossed, there were lights to stop the cars. Perfectly safe.
A few hints to make your experience safer and more enjoyable.
1. The lock bar key falls out of the lock so you need to keep the key on yourself so that it is not lost. We were not told this and the key fell out and was lost.
2. Bring drinks alone because there are not any stores to stop at until you get to St. Pete.
3. The seats are tough on the butt. If you have not ridden a bike in years, maybe bring a cushion?
4. Finally once you get to downtown St. Pete, there are hundreds of places to park the bike.

We appreciate your honest feedback and are happy to hear that you enjoyed our route to St. Pete. One of the biggest obstacles in the electric bike rental business is providing bikes that fit a variety of body sizes and shapes. We are always working on bringing smaller bikes to our fleet to make sure that they are accessible to all riders.
