We had a great time here! Our guide’s name was Patrick and he was so cool! He’s very easy to talk to, gave us lots of information and history about Yellowstone and the things around us where we floated down. He has a great sense of humor as well. Super nice and cool guy. Everyone here was amazing and very kind! Really cool and fun experience and highly recommend it. The only downside was the butt pain from sitting on the raft, but it was worth it. If you get lucky you’ll hit some big rapids and it’s feels good in the hot weather and it’s very enjoyable! You also get lots of chances to get out and swim in the river! It felt really good! Wasn’t very cold in late July, it was very refreshing!

My husband and I did the half day rafting trip with Bailey as our guide. I was a wonderful experience from start to finish! The company is well organized, they provides you with everything you need. Bailey was an awesome guide!, she gave clear instructions , was super knowledgeable about the river and made the trip fun! She also gave us a great recommendation to stop by the Iron Horse restaurant afterwards for some delicious trout and huckleberry margaritas! 😋 They have safety protocols in place for COVID . At lunch we were all given a squirt of hand sanitizer to start then the guides gave you a squirt of mayo or mustard to avoid cross contamination. I asked for a non-meat sandwich and it was delicious, lots of veggies and avocado. Overall I highly recommend taking this trip.

We cannot recommend this experience enough! Definitely worth the price for the full day of rafting versus the half day. We're so glad we had the extra time on the river. Our guide, Stix, was fun and knowledgeable. He made my 10 year old feel safe and didn't push her to try things with which she wasn't comfortable. At the same time, Stix pushed the raft to give enough excitement for my teen boys. They all agreed it was the highlight of our vacation. I could tell company cares because the equipment was well maintained, the staff were friendly, and they seemed excited about their jobs. We would definitely book another rafting trip with Wild West Rafting next time we are in the area.
