Rated the salmon River yesterday with our 16 yr old. Wondered if we would be comfortable as it looked like rain. We didn't have to worry. They had wet suits and splash jackets for us. The rain was light and passing. Sun can me out for lunch and the rest of trip😊 our guides were quite competent. Booking was easy even though the city power was out all day. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Wish we had more time!

We spent two days rafting the Salmon River with Mountain River Outfitters. The trip was exciting and very well planned. Our guide, Angela was fantastic and it seemed the other guests really enjoyed their guides as well.The accomodations were excellent considering they were tents and sleeping bags and the food was very good. We originally booked our trip for two years ago and had to cancel at the last minute due to a personal injury. Brenda and the staff were very understanding and re-booked us easily two years later and without any extra charges. The night before the trip we stayed in one of the two rooms offered at the office and it was large and comfortable. All in all, a great experience

We had an awesome time. This was our first time taking the boys white water rafting. They thoroughly enjoyed it! We were even given a snack which included fresh homemade cookies. The guides and everyone were so accommodating and friendly. I would not choose anyone else. This is a small organization, but so professional and so friendly.
